Thank you, Elizabeth. It's been wonderful to have this PeaceLinks atmosphere to gather in, but Chicken Scratch and Quiet Reading are just as nice. :-)

Thank you, Antonia. I love finding posts that resonate with each other and gathering them together. I love the spirit of On the Commons and hope to be a little less of a lurker there. I'm also right next door and a bit south of you in Idaho. :-)

Tara, thank you so very much for the shoutout and kind words about my post. And the answer is yes/and. I meant the title as both a toast and a tribute to the Princess Bride line. Something else--on Substack, so I wish I could remember what it was and do a shoutout to whoever inspired me, but it's not coming to me--had me thinking of Princess Bride. And in some ways, I have actually been toasting the pain these past few months. Kind of an OK, you have my attention, what are you saying sort of a toast.

Love being listed alongside Robin Taylor, Antonia Malchick, and Emily Conway. And will jump on over and check out Patti Digh. Thanks for the recommendation.

Excited for your new energy and endeavors. ♥️

Ah, Holly, I can't imagine what you're going through with your diagnosis. But I have confidence in your method of listening to your protective immune system to hear what it is trying to say.

Thank you for appeasing my curiosity about your title. I hear both meanings, and a deep spirit of irony, humor, acceptance, and humanity. :-)

Thank you, Robin. I see kinship in our values and efforts, too. Glad to have discovered you thanks to the buzz about SmallStack. Your primary publication is no less valuable, and I'm glad to subscribe to both. I meant it about calling for help. If the hubbub doesn't settle down to a rhythm that's comfortable for you, don't hesitate to DM me. I'll put on my former editor hat and help wade through mess or brainstorm or bring in other people - whatever.
